It’s time for another edition of “what would you do if you only had one day in a Disney theme park?”!  Today’s post covers how I would attack Hong Kong Disneyland Resort if I only had one day to do it.

(This itinerary assumes that the park is open from 10am – 8pm, it’s not a weekend, and it’s not a holiday.)

9:00am ARRIVAL

9:30am Take pictures on Main Street / grab a snack for breakfast

10:00am Head to Adventureland and ride Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars
(also grab a FastPass if you think you can squeeze it in before Festival of the Lion King later in this itinerary)

10:15am Ride Mystic Manor

10:30am Head to Toy Story Land, walk around, and ride RC Racers

11:00am Circle back around the water and do the Jungle River Cruise

11:30am Get in line for Festival of the Lion King

12:00pm Festival of the Lion King

12:30pm LUNCH at the Tahitian Terrace
(if you have more than 1 person in your party, someone should leave and get FastPasses for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh while you order your food)

1:30pm Raft to Tarzan’s Treehouse

2:00-3:30pm Afternoon activities

  • Cinderella Carousel
  • Mickey’s PhilharMagic
  • Mad Hatter Tea Cups
  • It’s a Small World

(Ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh during your FastPass window)

3:30pm Grab a snack at Clopin’s Festival of Foods and find a spot for the parade along Main Street

4:00pm Watch Flights of Fantasy Parade

4:45pm Get a FastPass for either Iron Man Experience or Hyperspace Mountain
Get in line for Mickey and the Wondrous Book

5:15pm Mickey and the Wondrous Book

5:45-6:30pm DINNER at the Royal Banquet Hall

6:30pm(ish) Sunset/Dusk Walk through the Fairy Tale Forest

7:00-8:00pm Head over to Tomorrowland and use your FastPass to do either Iron Man Experience and Hyperspace Mountain.  After, get in line for the other one or Ant Man and the Wasp.

8:00pm Park Closes.  Make sure you’re in line for that very last ride you want to do before the park closes.

What would you do if you only had one day to spend at Disneyland Hong Kong?
