I thought it would be a really fun exercise to put together a 1-day itinerary for how I would do each of the Disney parks if I only had 1 day. Following is how I would do the Shanghai Disney Resort.

(This itinerary assumes that the park is open from 8am – 10pm, it’s not a weekend, and it’s not a holiday.)

7:30am ARRIVAL

8:00am Head to Tron
(Get a FastPass for Soarin’ Over the Horizon (wait until the return time is showing 3:30-4:30pm before you grab it))

8:30am Do all of the rides in Tomorrowland (Jet Packs & Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue)

9:00am Head to Toy Story Land and do Rex’s Racers

9:30am Head to Fantasyland and ride Peter Pan’s Flight & Voyage of the Crystal Grotto

10:00am Get a FastPass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

10:30am Grab a snack/BREAKFAST

11:15am Head to castle to watch Golden Fairytale Fanfare

11:40am Meet Mickey in the Gardens of Imagination

Noon Get a FastPass for Roaring Rapids (look for a 3pm return)

12:30pm Do the “Once Upon a Time” Adventure in the Enchanted Storybook Castle

1:00pm By this time the FastPass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train should be ready (shift any of these items up or down depending on the return time for this ride)

1:30pm Walk through the Alice in Wonderland Maze

2:00pm LUNCH at Wandering Moon
Get a FastPass for Tron (you want a return time of around 9pm)

3:00pm Use FastPasses for Roarin’ Rapids followed by Soarin’

4:00pm Use the single rider line for Pirates of the Caribbean and ride this twice!
(Get FastPass for anything that’s left)

4:45-5:00pm Get in line for Tarzan: Call of the Jungle

6:30pm Dinner at the Royal Banquet Hall (inside the Enchanted Storybook Castle)
ALT: Dinner at Pinocchio Village Kitchen

8:00pm Get a spot for Ignite the Dream

8:30pm Ignite the Dream

9:00pm Ride Tron at night!

9:30-10:00pm Get in line for anything else you may have missed during the day (or anything you want to ride twice!)This is just how I would attack the park if I were to go back. Have you been to Shanghai Disney yet?  How would approach this park if you were to go back?  Leave a comment below.
